The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the results of Class 12th examination in Pune and the total pass percentage this year is 89.50%, which is roughly 2.9% increase from 2016’s pass percentage, according to board sources.

The division-wise Maharashtra HSC results 2017 pass percentage data is as follows:

Pune: 91.16%
Nagpur: 89.5%
Aurangabad: 89.33%
Mumbai: 88.22%
Kolhapur: 91.40%
Amrawati: 89.12%
Nashik: 88.22%
Konkan: 89.50%

A total of 15,05,365 students had registered. Of which, 8,48,929 are boys, while 6,56,436 are girls. They appeared from 9,143 junior colleges across the state.

2,42,628 students appeared in Pune.

5,59,423 students appeared in the Science faculty, 5,09,124 in Arts, 3,73,870 in Commerce and 62,148 under Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC).
